Changing your ordering system means typing your whole menu in again. It is the dullest part of the move and the reason most restaurants put it off.
Send us your menu as it already exists — a PDF from the printer, a photo of the board, a screenshot of your old ordering page — and we send back a finished CSV file: every dish, its category, price and description, in the columns Food Ordering Now imports directly. One click and your menu is live.
It is free, there is nothing to sign, and you do not have to buy anything. The file is yours whether you use our plugin or not.
Whatever form it is in. Several pages, several photos, a scan of a laminated card — all fine. We read it, we do not need it typed.
Dish name, category, price, description, dietary labels. We keep your wording and your prices exactly as they are, and we never translate a menu.
A CSV by e-mail, with a short note on anything we could not read for certain, so you check those few lines instead of the whole menu.
Because it is the step where people give up. We build Food Ordering Now, an ordering system that runs on the restaurant’s own WordPress site with no commission per order, and importing the menu is the first thing a new user meets. Doing it for you costs us a few minutes and removes the one obstacle that has nothing to do with whether our product is any good.
If you are moving off a system that is closing down, this is the part you can hand over today, before you have decided where you are going.
What formats can I send?
PDF, JPG, PNG, WEBP or a photo straight from your phone. Up to five files, 12 MB each.
Do I have to use your plugin?
No. The CSV is a plain spreadsheet file. Keep it, edit it, import it wherever you like.
What happens to my menu file?
We use it to build the CSV and nothing else. It is not passed on and not published.
My menu is in German, Hungarian or Serbian.
That is fine. We leave dish names and descriptions exactly as you wrote them — menus are never machine-translated.
How many dishes can it handle?
We have done menus of over a hundred dishes. If yours is larger, send it anyway and we will tell you.
